Monarchs & Migration Infographic
This infographic won an honorable mention in the Infographics category for Society for News Design International Student Competition 2021. It was created as my final project for Mejo 484: Infographics at UNC Chapel Hill. I was challenged to create an infographic that used a more traditional and organic stylistic approach. I used digital paint and watercolor in order to create very soft and dainty illustrations to scatter throughout the spread. The infographic not only highlights the anatomical features and behaviors of monarch butterflies, but their distinct and phenomenal annual migration patterns.
This infographic was created utilizing Adobe Fresco, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
